Our Platform for Wisconsin's Future

Making Life in Wisconsin More Affordable

Too many of us are struggling with high property taxes, expensive electric bills, and out-of-control healthcare costs. The average age of a first-time homebuyer has risen to 40, and the American Dream seems out of reach for young people.

I stand strongly for the conservative principles of small governmentlow taxes, and responsible investments that directly serve the hardworking people of our state.

I will fight to overturn Governor Evers' 400-year property tax increase, to eliminate taxes on pensions and retirement income, and to address waste, fraud, and mismanagement so that your tax dollars are invested in resources that directly benefit YOU.

Community Public Safety

Backing law enforcement, fire fighters, and first responders is a top priority for me. Everyone deserves to live, work, and raise their family in safe communities and homes

Addressing public safety workforce shortages through improvements in vocational education offerings, apprenticeships, training, and incentives is important to me.

During the 2020 riots in Kenosha, Governor Evers prioritized politics over public safety, putting our law enforcement and first responders at risk. Wisconsin elected officials MUST back the people who protect us who put their lives on the line for American values every day.

Accountability in Education

As a former educator, I am a firm believer that if you place the bar high, students will reach for it. We must raise academic standards, not lower them. By focusing on the basics, the return on taxpayers' investments in public education will be a brighter future for our children and a stronger workforce for Wisconsin.

Wisconsinites invest nearly 40% of the state budget in education, the second biggest expense next to medical assistance.  Yet, less than 1/3 of students in our state can read and do math at grade level.  Our academic achievement gap is one of the worst in the nation, while we are making record level investments in public schools. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

Enrollment has been declining for decades, yet spending has increased dramatically, only to yield poor results. We should not be spending more to educate less children. I support targeted education investments that are tied to results,  and I support incentives for schools to combine services and resources in ways that reduce their spending on administrative bloat, freeing up more dollars to be directed to teachers and classrooms

Defending Life

I am committed to defending the sanctity of life. We must work not only to pass policy that protects the unborn, but to impact real cultural change to increase how much value people place on life.

Along with saving babies' lives, this also means investing in care and support for mothers and families both before birth and post-pregnancy.

Protecting Women & Girls' Sports and Spaces

As a female athlete and competitor myself, I know all too much that we fought too long and too hard for women and girls to be able to compete safely  in all sports on a level playing field.  I unequivocally support limiting participation in women and girls' sports to women and girls only.

Men and boys do not belong in bathrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, or any other private spaces meant to protect women and girls.  My political involvement began by defending parental rights, and I have been passionately fighting to keep men out of girls' bathrooms and sports for over 6 years.

Honoring and Caring for our Heroes

Countless patriots and their families have made the greatest of sacrifices to protect and preserve our freedom. I support caring for our veterans and their families.

Whether it's addressing education needs, healthcare, homelessness, mental health, housing needs, and other ways we can fulfill our duty to our men and women who served, I will stand by them.
